Bookkeeping Services Tailored to the Needs of Your Businesses

Maintaining a meaningful and efficient chart of accounts, and performing monthly recurring bookkeeping are critically important building blocks that small business owners need to understand the financial health of their businesses.  With lean operating budgets, it is vital to understand where each dollar is spent.  It is similarly important to use that data to determine where dollars will be spent in the future (and when).  Planning for the cash flow needs of the business begins with a logical organization of the chart of accounts, continues with disciplined monthly accounting for operational activity, and ends with a determination of how much cash is available to the owners of the business for their personal use, for reinvestment back into the business, or for future operating needs.  Our team of experienced bookkeepers and Quickbooks experts will take on these responsibilities for your business as an extension or creation of your accounting team.

The detailed bookkeeping work includes:

Payroll Services

Todd & Associates CPAs offers payroll services to business of all sizes leveraging the ADP platform.  This platform is easily scaled and provides both employers and employees real-time access to all payroll-related documents.  The ADP platform can also be leveraged as an off-the-shelf Human Resources department without the cost of hiring full-time resources.  It includes the ability to create employee policy manuals, hiring and termination forms, and other human capital forms and documents.   small and large businesses, including:

Each pay period, we will provide you with employee paychecks and payroll reporting for the period, or alternatively all funds transfer and reporting can be handled electronically and securely.  We will also handle quarterly payroll reporting and tax filing requirements, as well as annual W-2 and 1099 processing.

We will take your payroll information in any format – email, company specific form, fax form, or confirmed verbal communication.

Payroll Tax Filing Services – Our fully integrated tax service handles all payroll tax calculations, payments, and reporting obligations seamlessly.

Management Reporting – With many management reports to select from, you can track virtually any aspect of your business, staying on top of important issues as they arise. Some key reports include: Department and Division Summaries, Worker’s Compensation, Payroll Recap, Vacation/Sick Accrual, Labor Distribution and Fiscal Year Reporting.

Online Reporting – Payroll and management reports are available with our cloud-based service.

Paycheck Options – We offer a variety of options to ensure that payroll is distributed in the way that works best for both employers and their employees. These include debit card, paper check, direct deposit, and ACH. You can also print paychecks in your office.

Restaurant Payroll – Managing the complexities of restaurant payroll – wages, tips and reporting – can be somewhat complex, but our Payroll team is trained to handle allocated tip reporting, tip-to-minimum validation, shortfall reports and the FICA tip credit reports.

The GPS Package is for small businesses navigating from point A to point B. This package offers basic bookkeeping and payroll support tailored for routing operations.

The Road Map Package is for growing businesses who need visibility into all potential routes to get to their destination. This package offers monthly financial statements and analysis on the changing nature of the business, along with more robust payroll and payroll tax support.

The Globe Package is a comprehensive accounting support system for larger businesses without their own accounting departments. This system includes client-selected features such as cash flow analysis, bill pay, and invoice management.
